i made it with chocolate cream cheese icing, 1/2 block of cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter, couple spoonfuls of coco powder, icing sugar till its right (maybe 2 cups)

Tonight: PHO cause its fucking cold

geordie has some pho cubes in the cupboard but evan says they taste totally gross,  so rule #1: no faux broth cubes

things for broth:

4 shallots

onion

ginger

start anise pods

garlic

beef broth

hot sauce

tamari

pinch a cinnamon

and then:

rice noodles

meat (we're using barbecued sausage which is weird but its what we have)

bean sprouts

lime

basil

we likey with peanuts

i'm putting fish sauce in mine, evan's not.

First, soak your noodles in boiling water for 20 mins

The broth....

                                                                   Dry roast the shit

Cut em big, don't peel em.

the onion, the shallots, some ginger, a couple star anise, garlic, and cinnamon

Put them all in a pot with no oil or anything and cook them till they start to char.

Then, add the broth and a bit of tamari (and fish sauce for me!) bring to boil and simmer for half an hour. it already smells like pho up in here.

strain the broth, pour into bowls

add all the other stuff
